I designed and wove these fabrics on a 24 harness dobby loom. Most of them reference the greek myths of Jason and Medea. Working with a dobby loom, I became interested in trying to depict a story, or a human face within the limits of what I could do with 24 harnesses. One tactic that I used was to float wool roving over some parts in order to frame what I wanted the viewer to look at, one example of this would be the fabric with silver and blue faces.
